I am a graduate Texas State University, with a B.A. in Finance. I also hold the designations ChFC, Masters of Science in Financial Services, and LTCP. I am the former President Uvalde Area Chamber of Commerce, Club Manager Knippa 4H, President Uvalde County 4H Adult Leaders, and current Superintendent of the market lamb committee for UCJLS.

I have been married to my wife Laura for 23 years. Our daughter Kayleigh attends Texas Tech University where she is majoring in Agribusiness.
